All hospital and health facility needs are assessed at the start of programmes, together with the knowledge and skills of staff to ensure that all equipment given matches the needs of that particular facility and their ability to use and maintain it.

Most of the equipment and supplies are imported from Europe. Maintenance issues must be managed locally and Family Care ensures that hospital engineers are given training at the time of installation.
